In the tradition of Glasflugel!
Approximately 70 examples of the
(flapped) 304CZ 15 meter and 304CZ-17 17 .43 meter high-performance
racing class sailplanes were produced by HpH Ltd as an "improved"
variation of the original "Glasflugel" H-304.
The HpH
304C "Wasp" 15 meter Standard Class sailplane is an updated variation
of this design, modified to FAI "Standard Class" (Flapless) design. The wing has
been modified with new design winglets, improved wing root design and additional
small modifications to take full advantage of the "Flapless" design. The
304C has shown to be a very competitive performer, and is currently in series
production.

COMPETITIVE PERFORMANCE!
304S IN COMPETITION!
In the second test of the 304S prototype
(the ONLY NON-German Glider)
in the German 18 Meter National Championship finished
an impressive 9th overall out of 37!
This was even
after an unfortunate land-out on one day dropping guest pilot
Jan-Hinnerk Scheel to 24th on this
one day
without question, the 304S is proving itself to be a formidable competitor!

The first official
competition for the new 304S is underway
see: http://www.pribinacup.sk/2007
First day .....1st
Place!
Second day.....1st Place!, in fact 304S remains in 1st place for 6 out of 8
days!
Unfortunately an early land out
(with 30 other gliders in the open class!) takes the 304S from 1st place.
Nonetheless, in an unprecedented first showing the lone 304S took on best
gliders that the largest sailplane manufacturers in the soaring world could
could throw at it and finishes a very respectable 8th out of 41 in it's first
contest ..not bad......not bad at all!

Open -
Overall results after Day 6
PS:
Jana Vepreková currently in
2nd place will give up the Ventus 2C in favor of the 304S ser#2
for European Championships!

Our competitors, and a lot of so called
"experts" may try to convince you otherwise, but see for yourself, the 304CZ has
repeatedly finished at or near the top of nearly every contest it has participated in. The
HpH 304CZ
has not only proven itself to be a great sailplane in handicapped "sport class"
events, but has proven itself still very worthy in FAI class competitions as well.

HpH 304CZ did a great job finishing in
second place in the "UNHANDICAPPED" 15 meter
class against the best gliders the competition could throw at him and some of
the top pilots from in and outside the USA proving once again that it takes more
than just money to compete in the world of competitive soaring.

DANSVILLE REGION 3
15 METER CLASS

Dave Wells after winning the first 2 days at Dansville flying
the new 304CZ in the 15 meter FAI Class
With only one 304CZ available
to compete against some of the top pilots in the USA flying the latest offerings from the
other major manufacturers, Dave Welles and the Glasflügel 304CZ wins 2 of the
3 contest days in 1998 15 Meter class at Region 3 Contest in Dansville NY.
Later contests had Dave finishing 5th out of 20 US entrants in 15 Meter Class at the 1998
Region 4 contest at New Castle Va. and the following 1999 contest finishing 11th of 27
entrants in the 15 meter racing class!
More telling of these results is that Dave and the 304CZ finished ahead of several brand
new 15 meter sailplanes all of the big three's last generation sailplanes. Also, a closer
look shows that on the same race days while flying the same tasks, the 304CZ nearly always
had higher finish speeds than even the very latest "Standard class" sailplanes
