non-production the are back in business and ready to make *custom
fitted canopy cap for most popular glider types, These are not a "one size
fits all" Imitation but the real thing many 100's of owners already enjoy
owning.

Sunshield Option
Everyone loves the Franklin Platinum Canopy cap....once you see one you'll
want one too!
Platinum Cap caps are light weight, compact reflective covers for use on the
flight line. The elastic band allows these to fit over the entire canopy and
still allow the canopy to be closed (but not locked) for easy entry. The
Canopy caps are extremely thing and lightweight and easily fit in the
baggage area or behind the seat and can be then carried along with the
glider. The reflective material keeps the cockpit cool and can help prevent
cockpit fires from the magnification of the canopy that works like a
magnifying glass and an optional Sun Shield also protects against this
magnifying effect with an open canopy.

The covers are GREAT. I am really
pleased with the quality and they look like they will hold up well. In
general, the fit is very good, especially considering that they were nowhere
near the glider when they were making them

Uncuttable all weather covers sets

Made from high quality, durable, synthetic materials. The top cover is made
with a waterproof outer shell and an inner, structured, cotton layer which
acts as soft protective that will not damage the aircraft finish. The lower
side of the wing and elevator covers are made from an high ventilating mesh
fabric. The covers are made with high quality zippers, velcro fasteners and
sewn in grommets with cords for easy installation and removal for storage.
A zippered storage bag is included with all sets.

Hail Protection option
For added protection the "optional hail protection" may be ordered with any
all weather cover set. Protection is provided with padding of
multiple thick layers of special breathable mesh material attached with
velcro to the wings and the elevator under the standard all weather covers.
Although there is no expressed guarantee that this option will prevent all
damage the impact from hail or incidental light impacts can be considerably
reduced.

materials as the UV cover sets with soft inside liners keep canopy clean
from dust and dirt that otherwise will scratch the surfaces. Canopy covers
come with velcro attachments, bungie cords and hooks and complete with a
