W&W Special compact active GPS antenna with shortened cable.

Most GPS remote antennas come with long, (sometimes up to 20') coax cable leads.
These should never be coiled as this can cause signal loss and create an RF loop in the
signals as well. Additionally, many remote GPS antennas are available only with magnets
for vehicle or boat mounting use which can also affect compasses and even some
variometers. W&W had these new, non-magnet mounted antennas specially prepared with
enough (2' or 8' Cable leads) for most sailplane mounting situations. The
W&W special High performance active GPS antennas are suitable for GPS
DATA-LOGGERS and any GPS using a BNC type connector.

LX 7000 Display
unit for Cambridge 302
a proven,
state of the art Graphical Display
for Cambridge 302 While
the Cambridge 302 is a good variometer, it needs a graphical display unit if
it is to be used as an effective soaring vario and navigation system.
The Cambridge solution is to couple a PDA to the 302. However,
there are many ergonomic problems with this solution and it is not ideal for
mounting in a glider cockpit. Now LX Navigation have solved these
problems by using the display of the LX7000 Pro and coupling it with a simple
serial cable to the 302. The LX7000 display has all the
functionality of a PDA but with improved ergonomics and many added features;
all contained in a package that fits a standard 80mm (3") panel cutout.
The LX 7000 display unit has an excellent pedigree
as it is based on the well known LX7000 Pro vario navigation system which is
a market leader.
The most impressive features are the high resolution graphic display
(160x240 pixels), coupled with the well known LX philosophy of using
intuitive controls comprising four rotary switches and six push buttons.
