Wing Tips Skids
Soft, light weight skids with metal
wear pin, 6" x 1 1/2", attach with RTV Gasket maker silicone
close-out $50.00 pair while they last
notes to installing:
Attach to the glider with RTV gasket maker silicone. Only a thin layer
is required, no more than 1/16". Then tape to the wing and leave for a
couple of hours before the tape is removed. Ideally it should be left to
fully cure overnight. The flat surface of the skid may also be shaped to
the wingtip profile by using a file or gentle use of a sanding drum. If
using a sanding drum, care should be taken not to remove too much
material." |
