Foam/Sealing tape
 This is an adhesive backed, closed cell foam tape which is available in various sizes by the roll. This tape can be wrapped around the edges of the windows to both cushion and seal. Piper used this extensively in their window installations, recommended for  installation of any canopy, window or windshield attached with mechanical fasteners.

Special Acrylic Drill Bits
 Our drill bits are specially sharpened to scrape a clean hole in your acrylic window. These drill bits will not chip or crack the acrylic like standard drill bits. They are available in individual sizes from 1/8" to 1/2" and 1/2" 100 degree countersink. Sets with countersink and index box take the guesswork out of which bits to purchase. This type of bit is required when drilling windshields and windows is specified. Remember that acrylic expands and contracts, so drill your holes oversize.

Canopy/Window
(Acrylic) repair products
 Acrylic cement is a clear water-thin liquid and is exceptionally fast setting for acrylics. This does contain Methylene Chloride and
can be hazardous to health and should only be used in controlled enjoinments with safety glasses for eye protection and stored in a secure place. (please read the hazard warnings!). It is also however an exceptionally good adhesive for cracked acrylics and quickly bonds broken or cracked acrylic ( tm Plexiglas) canopies and windshields for a strong solid repair.

Conventional Plastic Cleaners
Plastic-cleaning products have often proven to be less than satisfactory.
Existing cleaners are often messy to use (especially creams and pastes) and require several steps to apply. They have to be rubbed on and buffed. They often leave a sticky, tacky or oily residue. And, in many cases, they're abrasive, leaving small lines in the plastic.
Dissatisfied with these cleaners, many people resort to products that are alcohol, ammonia, or petroleum-based. Unfortunately, these products can dry out plastic, leading to cracking and
discoloration over time.
