Written Test Preparation Books

Years ago (Far more than I'd like to
remember) I and several others from my local glider club, took the one day
GPGS course with Edgar Seymour at our local airport. The course is
specifically designed, not to teach everything you need to know to fly
gliders, but is aimed at getting you ready to take and PASS the FAA required
written knowledge test for your pilots certificate. The course specifically
answers the questions and gives the right answers and covers the tests so
anyone can pass this exam. These are the same guide books used for the
ground school course, updated and the same guides used today with the once
again active GPGS courses given across the country today by Edgar's sons who
have reinvigorated and continued the programs starting again in 2006.
The GPGS will be back on the road covering 12 cities starting with the SSA
convention in Arlington Texas February 4th and 5th 2006. For details on
where and when please contact Dave Seymour at
Z3PLT@yahoo.com or call (877)FLY-GPGS
These low cost guides will help you pass the FAA written test the first time
and are geared specifically at the "GLIDER" pilot written test saving you
time and effort by not having to study additional questions and answers that
are not applicable to glider pilots and their required test questions and
are now available from W&W.

certificates...Don't be surprised, be prepared!
